Responsibilities:

* End-to-end programme management and delivery of key operational projects, including Agency procurement, marketing development and efficiencies and budgetary control.
* Define the annual Agency and Marketing activity calendar, including, objectives, outputs and key stakeholder support; helping lead and facilitate weekly, monthly and quarterly Governance meetings.
* Provide regular status updates on key project time line milestones, including any mitigation plans.
* Support in the management of external agencies, including contracts, SLA agreements, NDAs and Agency scorecards.
* Generate value creation through effective communication processes, rate cards and SLAs, ensuring external partners are able to support business objectives effectively.
* Provide Marketing subject matter expertise in the effective management of Agencies; defining specific scope, strategic requirements and transition plans to all agency / vendor procurement programmes, helping manage the tender & pitch processes, RFIs, briefs, presentations, shortlisting and final presentations.
* Help define, manage, embed and stream line the ways of working across the business and multiple Agencies, continuously evolving processes to optimise effectiveness and efficiencies - identifying gaps, pressure points and collaborate with all parties to provide solutions.

Requirements:

* A strong marketing professional, with extensive experience in marketing operations and stakeholder management. Specialist skills in writing briefs, agency management and budgetary control. The role demands a combination of strategic thinking and operational acumen coupled with multi-discipline stakeholder management capabilities and first-hand, real world, multi-channel experience with particular emphasis on improving overall effectiveness.
* Experience in retail marketing could be an advantage, but a strong background and proven track record in agency management and procurement essential. Knowledge of working a in a regulated environment is helpful, as is proven delivery in a complex, multi-category business with a matrix structure.
* High numeracy, ability to understand performance and drive ROI.
* Strong understanding of measurement frameworks and tracking for key projects.
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
* Marketing / Business qualifications and/or degree.
* UK experience is essential
