Are you looking for a new Events Manager position within a high profile organisation?

A leading Government Regulator are looking for a new Events Manager to join the Events Team. Interviews will be on the 20th March and it is a 1 stage process. The salary is £32,210 and they are based in Central London.

Description

The purpose of the position is to deliver the organisation's events, exhibitions and speaker opportunity programme, ensuring the delivery of high quality, successful events

The post holder will plan and deliver our own events as well as exhibiting at other people's events mainly in the UK but also including some international events.

Our events programme comprises flagship events, symposia, webinars, launch events, information sharing workshops and networking events. We use the latest digital technology to enhance our offering and create memorable, accessible, high impact events.

Leadership and management

* Working with senior staff across the organisation to plan events, providing expert advice and guidance, from inception to completion.

* Setting up a project team to manage the delivery of each event to agreed deadlines and financial targets.

* Work with the external events management supplier on the planning of and delivery of events.



Service delivery

* Developing project plans and monitoring progress; identifying and mitigating risks, and escalating issues when appropriate.

* Ensuring all aspects of the event are delivered to the correct standard, specification and to deadlines, including carrying out venue searches and assessments and managing onsite delivery of events.

* Developing and delivering marketing plans for each event; identifying and segmenting target audiences and identifying the right channels to communicate with them.

* Producing delegate communications, including invitations, email direct mailings, confirmation, and welcome letters and developing and maintaining copy for event web pages.

* Ensure branding is correct and ensure our brands are positioned to best effect.

* Lead event debriefs with all relevant staff.


Profile

-The position is brilliant for someone who knows how to run and deliver successful events.

- Agency Management experience

- Strong organisational and operational skills

-Social Media experience

- Event Management client side or sales/venue experience

- There is no line management in the position

- Maximum 2 month NP

- Availability to interview on the 20th March 2019
