A leading international legal practice with a truly global presence requires a Social Media Executive on a 12 month fixed term contract basis to support the firm's brand and reputation through the management of global social media channels, creating content, monitoring and analysing activity and providing advice and support to marketing colleagues.

Acting as a social media adviser to staff and working to up-skill the workforce and improve their knowledge of the firm's social media channels and content, the successful candidate will lead on all social media, crafting dynamic and engaging visual content that achieves essential cut through above the noise, relevant to the firm's activity and which capitalises on the news agenda and work collaboratively with the wider marketing and communications team to advise on and support the delivery of campaigns. The Social Media Executive will support the implementation of new social media channels, tools and platforms; manage the global social media calendar, scheduling in content from around the network; work with the digital team on the publication of content on the website; work with the creative services team to source and create suitable images for social media; identify opportunities to repurpose and re-tweet content; and monitor social media channels for comments that might cause the firm reputational damage. The role holder will be responsible analysing specific campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement. You will also audit and analyse the firm's general social media presence and monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media spaces.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree-level qualification in communications, media relations or a related field, or substantial equivalent experience, and proven experience in an agency or fast-paced business environment managing social media as part of an integrated marketing approach and working with social media monitoring and analytical tools. The Social Media Executive will also possess an excellent ability to write in English, translating complex material into easy to read promotional copy and a strong ability to keep calm under pressure with the capability to juggle tasks to meet short deadlines.
