Exceptional opportunity to take your digital media skills into a dynamic, blue-chip FMCG business based west of London.  This role is all about developing and implementing innovative digital media strategies for a portfolio of leading brands, and needs a super-smart, ambitious marketer with a proven track record gained in a fast-paced agency or client-side role.  Working with brand teams, agency partners and senior media stakeholders, you will advise on digital strategies and innovation, ensuring that activity behind each brand is effective and makes a real impact.  

Key responsibilities include

  • Leading the digital innovation, strategy and execution for each brand, challenging the status quo where appropriate. 
  • Briefing and managing the process for digital media plans working closely with brand managers, media agencies, media partners the media management and e-commerce team to optimise ROI.
  • Set clear objectives across digital areas and lead quarterly reviews including measurement. 
  • Identifying opportunities for a CRM acquisition program to allow direct communication with a high quality engaged consumer audience.
  • Leading the relationship with all agencies involved in digital activity/asset creation - vetting new agencies where appropriate.
  • Developing training initiatives for internal brand teams and upskilling within the marketing team. 
  • Leading the PPC and SEO strategy and implementation across all brands. 

Skills Checklist
This is a key role where you will interface with senior brand and media teams.  We're looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and analytic al thinker who can take this remit on in an organisation that provides a high level of personal autonomy and individual responsibility.  

  • Proven experience in digital role developing and executing a digital media strategy with a clear demonstration of success achieved. 
  • In depth understanding of the technology, digital marketing and infrastructure underpinning within a digital capacity required for mobile and web. 
  • Robust understanding across Display, video, digital content, social media, eCRM, eCommerce and Search including Amazon AMG understanding. 
  • Proven analytical ability including ability to interrogate large amounts of data, being detailed oriented without losing track of the big picture.
  • A good working knowledge of DMPs, in particular Krux and other digital tools including Double Verify, Sizemek, Double Click, GA.
  • Self-motivated, highly flexible and takes the initiative to do what's needed in a fast paced environment and tight deadlines.
  • Strong competitive spirit, results orientated with a clear desire to succeed and exceed.
