An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the marketing team of a specialist, London based law firm. As a Digital & Communications Assistant, you will support the implementation of the firm's digital and internal and external communications.

Acting as a proactive member of the firm's newly formed Digital Board, you will take instructions from the Digital Specialist, to create social media posts and to post, track and report on effectiveness. The role holder will help with the management of the weekly social media calendar, this will include updating Hootsuite, posting reactive content and assisting with the dissemination of planned content, and will monitor relevant accounts, including partners, staff, clients, intermediaries, press, publications and influencers, and share, like and engage with appropriate content. From a communications perspective, you will be the editor of the firm's weekly internal staff newsletter, co-ordinator of firm wide strategic communications, manage the blog tool and ensure a consistent flow of management information to the wider firm and that partners and staff are made aware of key news and are prompted to like, share and comment. The Digital & Communications Assistant will also assist with day to day management and maintenance of content on the firm's website.

You will have experience working in a busy marketing and BD team, preferably in a law firm where you gained solid experience of using Photoshop and InDesign and experience of working with emarketing software, such as Vuture, and blogging platforms. The Digital & Communications Assistant will also be creative, passionate about design and social media and fully conversant with Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram in a professional services context. An energetic, self-motivated team player, you will have excellent organisational and communication skills and be both accurate and thorough. It is essential that you are able to remain calm whilst working under pressure and adhering to tight and demanding deadlines and also possess the confidence to interact with people at all levels of the firm.
