The Product Manager specific responsibilities are:

* Product Leader. Maintain existing product lines once launched through their life cycle. Support Colours, Materials and Finishes team in delivering materials strategy and ensuring all finishes are maintained across all product categories.

* Placemaking. A confident space planner able to create typical settings and holistic solutions that promote the portfolio in an inspiring way that resonates with sales / dealers, allowing them to visualise a product range in compelling application.

* Research. Collects and synthesizes product, competitor, customer, and market information to support portfolio decisions and support the sales process.

* New product development. Support Portfolio Lead with identifying new product opportunities and enhancements. Define product criteria to support a business case for new product development.

* Communications. Think creatively and be able to generate new ideas for initiatives and assets that help make portfolio information easy to access and understand.

* Order Entry & Space Planning Tool. To ensure products are accurately represented across our key order entry systems (EOS, CET, pCon) and lead project to ensure the right level of 3D files for our product portfolio is accessible to our A&D and Dealer community, owning the ongoing maintenance and communication of these tools.

* Training. Develop sales and product training materials to ensure HM/dealer sales and design staff are fully competent to independently present HM and its product portfolio


The successful Product Manager will:


Degree or equivalent qualification in any relevant discipline.

Autocad, Sketchup and Adobe creative suits


At least two years experience in industry/interior design in Product Management role.

Experience relating to the office furniture industry and Interior Design

Experience in V-Ray, 3D studio max



Highly competent with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.

Experienced space planner, knowledge of application software (Sketchup, other?)

Comfortable working as part of a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment

Able to manage multiple projects and prioritise.

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Able to write English clearly and concisely.

Able to articulate own thoughts clearly and persuade others - both visually and verbally

Able to lead decision making meetings without the formal structural authority.

Able to contribute to strategic direction/development.

Able to complete regular tactical tasks with accuracy and timeliness.

Hold a current clean driving licence.

Be flexible over working hours and be prepared to travel.

Job Offer

The successful Product Manager Based in Melksham will receive:

£30,000 - £35,000
