PR Assistant Manager, Financial Services, based in London:

The Financial Services press office works to maximise positive coverage for the client, and manage incoming enquiries from client facing teams, building a strong network.

This role covers a broad range of issues across banking, insurance and asset management, with the opportunity to prioritise and lead the PR for areas of particular interest.

Description

The successful candidate for the position of PR Assistant Manager, based in London, will be responsible for:

- Supporting the clients' profile within all areas of Financial Services, this includes asset management, insurance and banking.

- Building a wide network both internally, and with relevant journalists in national press and trade.

- Utilising various social media channels to support internal stakeholders.

- Constructing and drafting press statements, press plans, covering reports and briefing notes.

- Generating ideas for thought leadership and research that would grow the clients' reputation within areas of priority.

- Managing business-wide issues with the wider press team.

- Tailoring the business's global campaigns into content or the UK media.


Profile

The successful candidate for the position of PR Assistant Manager, based in London, must:

- Have at least 1 year experience in Financial Services Public Relations

- Have exceptional oral and written communication skills

- Have a high level of confidence in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders

- Be passionate in generating coverage, along with a strong ethic

- Be able to process complex issues into meaningful communications

- Have the willingness to learn and build an understanding of the clients' commercial agenda

- Be a strong team-player

- Adhere to the core values of the business
