Looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a successful B2B marketing agency?

My client have created a brand new role to enable them to offer a new service to their existing clients and to help attract new clients. In addition to this it will contribute to the way they do their own marketing.

You'll have the fantastic opportunity to set up your own department and develop the role as you see fit. You'll help to bring in new business for their existing core services and develop a fresh income stream from the SEO and PPC offering. This will involve:

* Creating a 12-month costed marketing plan with targets.
* Driving your projects from start to finish: generating leads; pulling together exceptional proposals to win new business; and liaising with clients and prospects via phone, email and meetings.
* Thoroughly getting to grips with the business and their clients' businesses in a short time frame.
* The presentation skills and credibility to win new business during meetings with stakeholders and senior management teams.
* Being completely comfortable with picking up the phone to reach out to clients and prospects to develop new business.
* A high level of energy, enthusiasm and self-motivation.
* The commitment to be a self-starter, developing new ideas in spare work time.
* Attending strategy and planning workshops with clients and prospects.
* Embracing opportunities to attend networking and business events.
* Managing relationships with clients, suppliers and other team members.
* Producing project plans, monitoring costs and time spent to keep campaigns within budget.
* Briefing the studio team and suppliers on client requirements, and working with them on the creative design and copy ideas to make sure the project is delivered to the required standard, on-time.
* The ability to write in a clear and compelling way.
* Taking responsibility for the quality control of all materials and communications for your campaigns.
* Keeping the management team updated regarding current campaigns and new business progress.
* Making sure the new department is covering its costs within six months and profitable on an ongoing basis by the end of the first 12 months.
* Reviewing the company website and developing a SEO strategy to drive more traffic to it.
* Producing timely and accurate reports.
* Awareness of the principles of web development preferable.

Desired skills and experience

You'll have a minimum of three years' experience working in a similar role in an agency setting, as well as proven experience in developing and presenting B2B marketing strategies to win new business.

You'll enjoy working as part of a small close-knit team, but also thrive on having your own area of responsibility. You'll be confident enough to offer creative input and have the time-management skills to manage several campaigns at once, as well as the flexibility to switch between different clients and the different aspects of your role - all while maintaining the high quality of your work.

You'll need your own transport and a full driving licence.
