Digital Project Manager/Account Manager
Award- winning digital agency with ambitious growth targets are looking to recruit a proactive, and enthusiastic Project/Account Manager to join their London team. They work with amazing clients across financial, property, food and drink, arts and heritage, and destination marketing sectors.
They deliver exceptional UX, design, development and social strategy with a focus on open source technologies such as Drupal, WordPress and React JS.
You will play a key role in the management of key client accounts, delivering web and digital strategy projects and building client relationships.
You will need to have a passion for digital technology and have proven experience of managing multiple client projects and campaigns as well as a strong understanding of industry landscape.
Core Role Responsibilities:
You will be accountable for the day to day management of clients and will work closely with the development team to identify solutions and ensure quality. Day-to day activities will vary according to your client's projects but will involve:
Defining and developing project statements of work with the clients services team to ensure effective, scoping, planning and forecasting.
Managing small, medium and large projects- delivering against project plan and budget, avoiding scope creep and managing client expectations.
Day to day management of project teams- UX and UI designers, front and backend developers and testers based in London and Opole.
Managing other development partners including commercial arrangements and overseeing delivery.
Managing project and client risks and issues, escalating where necessary to the managing partner, or Director of Operations.
Developing long lasting client relationships and growing revenue.
Reviewing analytics across multiple channels (web, social, email) to identify opportunities and anticipate any issues.
Supporting new business pitches by contributing to or writing proposals, preparing estimates, technical scoping and presenting as part as of the pitch team.
Promoting digital understanding and enthusiasm across the group.
Identifying new opportunities to improve tools, processes and methodologies.
Supporting marketing requirements (monthly newsletter, website updates etc.)
Experience and Skills Required:
You need to have a good understanding of digital technology and experience of delivering marketing campaigns, user experience and large web build projects.
Have an understanding of the full digital project lifecycle including the UX and design process.
Experience and knowledge of formal project management and proficient in use of tools such as Basecamp, SmartSheet or similar.
You will need to have strong client facing experience with excellent presentation skills.
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to explain the technical to the non-technical.
Be able to work to deadlines and prioritise accordingly and manage time across multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.
