We are currently looking to recruit a highly-motivated individual to join our Education Resources team. You will be a talented Designer producing creative print and digital content appropriate both to the market, and to the qualitative standards set by Scholastic.
As Design Manager you will ensure design concepts are both creative, innovative and suitable for the appropriate markets (both home and classroom). You will be responsible for overseeing the design of all material within each Scholastic Education series to ensure smooth workflow across multiple projects. You will be a confident project manager with the ability to manage external freelancers and packagers.
Individually, you will have proven design experience in an educational market, qualified to degree level or equivalent with a detailed understanding of InDesign, Photoshop and other relevant print and digital content packages. A highly organised but creative individual with excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm and commitment to achieving sometimes demanding deadlines you must also have the ability to adapt, respond and manage both internal and external teams and schedules from brief to supply.
