Digital Designer
Full time, Fixed Term (FTA)
Kew Gardens, Richmond

Kew is the world's leading botanic gardens, at the forefront of plant and fungal science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major visitor attraction.

We want a world where plants and fungi are understood, valued and conserved - because our lives depend on them.

We use the power of our science and the rich diversity of our gardens and collections to provide knowledge, inspiration and understanding of why plants and fungi matter to everyone.

Over the last year, Kew's Creative Services team has worked on 1,000 design projects to help Kew's 1.9 million visitors find out more, find their way around, and find out how they can help support Kew's vital work for the future. There have been festivals and exhibitions to promote, international research projects to launch, members, supporters and funders to be kept informed.

As Kew's challenges and ambitions grow, so do the demands on Creative Services. That's why we're transforming our team, and the services we provide.

Our in-house design studio is responsible for maintaining Kew's visual identity, championing high-quality design and providing creative advice and artwork on a huge variety of design projects.

The Digital Designer will help us deliver innovative, world-class design across the Kew website, social media, email and digital advertising channels. This role is pivotal in helping us engage a global audience and provides a unique opportunity to work across a huge range of projects bringing together our digital and non-digital look-and-feel to ensure one overall unique visual identity.

Salary will be £36,941 per annum. We offer a fantastic range of benefits including a broad range of Learning and Development opportunities, with access to the Civil Service training curriculum, generous annual leave entitlement for new starters, family friendly policies, a choice of competitive pensions and flexible benefits scheme.
