The role of Head of Direct Mail and Press is a key senior position within the marketing team that will have full responsibility for direct mail and press campaigns. You will be responsible for the strategic direction and optimised delivery of marketing activities in this area.

The client is a high growth and well established Life Insurance company. They have a strong leadership team and are marketing centric when it comes to their customer growth.


The role of Head of Direct Mail and Press includes the following responsibilities:
Development and delivery of strategy for press and print marketing
Work closely with sales team to ensure volume, quality and conversion of leads is optimised
Develop KPI reporting to ensure accurate and commercial measurement of success
Generate insight to maximise effectiveness of campaigns and understanding of audience
Understand the customer journey across all touch points
Seek out new opportunities for increasing lead generation
Manage third party agencies


The ideal candidate for this London based role will possess the following skill set:
Extensive Direct Mail and Press marketing experience
Be highly analytical and commercial in approach to offline lead generation
Have previous managed budget, been responsible for ROI and KPI setting
Able to manage external agencies and ensure creative messaging is effective
Can build strong relationships with sales teams and senior management
Ensure activities are brand and industry compliant
