Looking for a proactive and creative Business Development Executive to come and join their thriving team in Reading

Client Details

An established leading law firm currently in the process of a merger to become on of the top 50 law firms in the UK, lots of scope for progression and development


The Business Development Executive will be responsible for the below duties:

* Understanding 'buyer behaviour' and client experience management- the psychology of the client and how services can match needs

* Develop the sales pipeline within the departments on a one-to-one basis, identifying opportunities for dialogue with each lawyers 'top target', cross selling and add value (pipeline/opportunity tracking)

* Proactively track client and industry news and trends, spotting potential revenue generation opportunities to its ultimate conclusion

* Adapt business development best practise. Proactively use a variety of tools to encourage client contact and to help shape conversations

* Develop detailed engagement plans that drive opportunity to contract closing


For the Business Development Executive role, the desired skills set would be as below:

* Ability to immediately win trust, influence and establish credibility at senior levels

* Proactive and creative approach to business development

* Ability to form considered opinions and can present their ideas effectively

* Understand the importance of qualifying and pursuing the right opportunities that will generate profitable work

* Ability to work with all internal stakeholders to drive business forward
