The Organisation is the independent charity that looks after some of the most iconic sites in the UK today including Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle.

They are currently recruiting for a full time Events Coordinator covering Kensington Palace and Kew Palace.

Role Overview:

This role will be to deliver consistent five star administrative support to the Events team at Kensington Palace and Kew Palace, whilst also overseeing events stewards during evening events. To succeed, you will need to be enthusiastic, calm under pressure, efficient and diplomatic. Well organised, efficient and customer-focused, you will have some office based experience in a customer service environment. You will also possess excellent IT skills (including MS Word and Excel), be able to manage and maintain databases (experience in Kinetics is desirable) and filing systems, and have a flair for written communication.

With strong interpersonal skills, you will be a highly motivated self-starter who is equally confident managing enquiries face to face or on the telephone.

Applicants should have an innovative and creative approach to problem solving and enjoy working as part of a high achieving team.

Please note, you must be prepared to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if the events schedule requires it.
