Our client is a creative communications agency based in Kent. They specialise in health, wellness and lifestyle as well as other sectors. Due to continued success they are looking to add an Account Manager to the team.

The Role

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of work, growth, retention and profitability for a portfolio of accounts. You will build strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted partner. You will support the wider team, everyone working together to deliver exceptional work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the Account Director with day-to-day delivery of work and delegation when appropriate
  • Being responsible for the end-to-end management and successful completion of key projects within an account
  • Take individual accountability for the running of client accounts
  • Establish yourself as key contact for the client
  • Take the opportunity to develop accounts, introducing services that support client needs
  • Give solid briefs on behalf of your client
  • Ensure brand consistency across all work
  • Collaborating with clients to set out project timelines and budgets
  • Presenting and articulating our ideas to clients in a digestible and relevant way
  • Working with senior management to set budgets, monitor costs and profitability, ensure timely invoicing and payment of fees           

Skills and Experience

  • Strong project management skills
  • A proven track record of delivering high-caliber work
  • Proven experience of building successful client relationships and rapidly earning client trust
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience of driving projects from initial briefing to delivery of final product
  • Exceptional attention to detail and/or experience of quality control
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Good working knowledge of business development
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Good MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
