We're looking for a commercially-driven strategic thinker who is obsessed with finding innovative ways of acquiring new customers for this fast-growing subscription based digital brand.
 

Robust experience managing and optimising large scale e-commerce websites is essential for this exciting and challenging role with a highly-successful subscription-based digital software brand used primarily by SMEs, sole traders and accountants to help manage and plan their businesses.  Working with a team of developers and agencies, you will lead the UK website strategy to attract, delight and acquire new customers, defining an innovative digital roadmap based on clear hypotheses, customer insights and data.

Working in a B2C or B2B business, you will have driven step-change conversion rate growth, and will have a deep understanding of web testing methodologies, processes and CRO best practice, consistently improving SEO performance, end-to-end customer journeys and delivery against KPIs.  Working within a dynamic UK team, liaising closely with the company's US head office, you play a key role in accelerating the continued success of this brand, already used by over 350,000 people in the UK and millions more worldwide.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Providing a clear vision and roadmap to improve end-to-end web flows, messaging, SEO, pricing & promotional tactics, sign up flows, lead capture mechanisms, blog, tracking and technical performance. 
  • Planning and managing the delivery of industry-leading E2E website experiences in partnership with the marketing, analytics and design teams, web developers and agency partners.
  • Conducting prospect/customer research to assess current experiences, identify new opportunities and test/validate new hypotheses before rolling out 
  • Driving the  web monetization strategy for new customer acquisition to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Leading an SEO agency with opportunity to grow the team over time.
  • Coaching the team on fast learning cycles and testing to continuously improve growth outcomes.

Experience/Skills Checklist

  • Deep understanding of web testing methodologies, processes and CRO best practice.
  • Proven track record of improving SEO performance & KPIs.
  • Testing mindset to quickly formulate and validate hypotheses to drive incrementality
  • Experienced with managing large scale projects using scrum methodology in a high-velocity environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial & analytical skills and comfortable with using complex web analytics tools & data sets to assess performance.
  • Outstanding communicator that can effectively manage expectations vertically throughout the organization.
