A creative and hands on PR & Communications Manager role is availalbe with a thriving retail based in Hertfordshire. This role is newly created supporting the Head of Communications within the Technology and Engineering sector.

My client is offering a really exciting opportunity to join them in a brand new role as a PR & Communications Manager as they grow their business. My Client is on a mission to put the world's largest bricks-and-mortar grocery retailers online using an in-house developed platform, which combines the latest innovations in AI, cloud, robotics, big data, and IoT. As a serial disruptor, my client is constantly moving the goalposts of what's possible to achieve with technology and innovation. That means constantly evolving their competencies, structures, culture, values, and ways of working in order to power the future of online grocery retail. Achieving this vision means they need to constantly re-invent by learning fast, evolving our craftsmanship, and taking risks. My client is based in Hertfordshire.


You will be working in partnership with various stakeholders to tell my clients technology and engineering story. You'll be working amongst teams of extremely bright and self-motivated developers, engineers, designers, IT specialists, and other senior people across the business reporting into the Head of Communications.

You will be responsible for:

* Liaising with key stakeholders to identify strategic objectives across Technology and Engineering and develop communication campaigns to support these objectives.

* Create and drive campaigns across the entire marketing and PR mix, aimed at solidifying the business as a fundamental player in the field of retail and beyond.

* Work closely and collaboratively with other functions within the business to ensure consistent and integrated communications across all media channels and divisions.

* Press office: deliver a constant stream of proactive and reactive coverage that positions the business at the forefront of the digital retail revolution and beyond.


* 2-5 years experience within PR/Comms wither with an agency or in house.
* A university degree
* Strong creative writing skills and use of the English language
* A passion for technology/ engineering
* Strong Key Stakeholder Management
