This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading law firm on a 6 month fixed term contract basis as a Business Development Manager with responsibility for the IP/IT and Disputes & Investigations groups. The Business Development Manager will be important in helping to build on the client development and profile-raising work that has already been done and continue to create a more structured approach to BD activities and you will also be central to helping the firm develop a more commercial outlook to its clients and its work. The role is broad in nature and you will act as a trusted advisor to practice area leaders and the broader partner team, helping to draft business plans, advising on BD investment decisions and identifying new BD opportunities. You will be tasked with devising and implementing client plans and developing key accounts; managing and supporting the bids process and credentials; ensuring the high quality of marketing collateral; PR and hospitality; and proactively commissioning and conducting market research and analysis.
