The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the assist in the development and implementation of the acquisition and retention strategies.

Description

* Develop and implement acquisition and retention strategies, driving student and member acquisition, progression, conversion and retention, ensuring a healthy pipeline of new, top-quality applicants to the profession
* Annual review and refresh/redevelopment of the of the retention/education brand, ensuring it's engaging and competitive in the wider recruitment market in order to encourage new prospects
* Develop and manage relationships with a range of stakeholders including employers, institutions, members and students
* Ensure all acquisition and retention activity is consistently measured, evaluated and optimised to ensure strategic goals are met and results are reported back to the team and wider boards appropriately
* Working with colleagues in organisational areas responsible for products in supporting and evolving the organisation's points of differentiation
* Development of a retention programme of activity - working closely with senior management and other teams to develop a best fit, effective range of collateral and promotional events to help retain the organisation's global student membership
* Act as a spokesperson in assisting in the delivery of presentations, coordinating discussions, manning exhibition stands at university, school and national careers events as appropriate
* Project manage the development of all careers and education marketing material (careers brochures, directories, content for advertising agencies, website and social media content) including devising proposals, briefs and business cases for work, as well as selecting and managing suppliers
* Engage and manage a network of volunteers on writing case studies, articles and blogs
* Production of engaging content across all platforms including brochures, web copy, video and social media content for the purpose of acquiring and retaining members
* Management of the careers budget including monitoring and reporting of expenditure in the acquisition and retention areas
* Conducting market research to identify business development opportunities to raise the profile of the organisation globally including encouraging employers to advertise in the organisation's publications, careers app and website


Profile

Essential

* Proven experience of developing and delivering impactful marketing campaigns, with experienced of KPIs being directly aligned to organisational strategy
* Demonstrable experience of working with B2B and B2C integrated campaigns across multiple channels and markets with an understanding of how insight and technology come together to drive take up of a product, qualification or brand position
* Experience in organising events, including working with a range of key stakeholders such as staff, volunteers, employers, universities, schools and venues
* Proven experience and understanding of working across multiple channels including events, email, social media, web, print, etc
* Strong project management skills with ability to work on multiple tasks at one time and work to deadlines
* Proven experience of setting up measurement approaches, analyse data, report success, and use results to inform planning and reforecasting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders as well as working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
* Willingness to travel to careers events around the UK and the rest of Europe as necessary
* Experienced user of Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Creative thinking and problem solving skills
* Tact and diplomacy in dealing with often sensitive information
* CIM qualified to Professional Diploma



Desirable

* Experience of working within professional services or membership bodies
* Experience of presenting to groups of stakeholders, including potential students, management and other stakeholders as required
* Experience of working in an organisation with volunteer input
* Some experience / knowledge of global markets


Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £40,000 and £43,000.
