The Marketing Manager will be responsible for coordinating marketing campaigns and projects with the aim of building member engagement.

* Developing, delivering and reporting on effective marketing campaigns with a focus on the full marketing mix including direct marketing, email, web, social, digital, etc
* Building and project managing marketing campaigns with a focus on optimising marketing channels and user journeys, creating engaging messaging to different target audiences and reviewing marketing activity to identify opportunities
* Building strong and effective stakeholder relationships across the business to shape and deliver integrated campaigns as well as externally including design and digital agencies
* Managing the change within the team and the wider business from a tactical marketing focus to a strategic marketing approach
* Providing consultative and delivery support for service-related communications across the marketing function
* Tracking and reporting of key metrics and successes for products and membership to show value added through the marketing processes and gain useful information for influencing future marketing activity
* Management of projects, marketing budgets and time schedules effectively as agreed
* Line management



* Experience building and project managing marketing campaigns across multiple channels
* Strong Excel capabilities including managing and refining mailing lists
* Strong planning and organisation skills with proven ability to multi-task and handle several projects simultaneously
* Experience of exploring and analysing a market sector, developing suitable marketing propositions, and using the knowledge to improve processes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail with strong copywriting and proofreading skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and confidence building relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders
* Experience of working in a fast paced environment with accountability for delivering campaigns on time and on budget
* Creative and proactive approach to work, identifying areas for improvements and making appropriate recommendations
* A flexible and dynamic team-player with a can do attitude


* Knowledge of direct marketing via direct mail and/or email, including using mailing lists and conducting evaluation
* Previous experience working in a membership organisation
* Line management experience
* Experience of managing external agencies (design and production)

Job Offer

* A salary of up to £46,000 depending on experience
