My client, a leading commercial business based in Liverpool is recruiting a Resident Liaison Manager to join their fast paced, dynamic business. You will be responsible for building engagement with the local community through establishing a focused communication and engagement programme between local residents and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research to identify all relevant stakeholders
Establish the best way to engage with identified stakeholders and determine matters for discussion
Identify and mitigate barriers to communication and engagement with stakeholders
Create, implement and oversee engagement activities that meet business objectives and engage the local community
Organise and host regular community drop-in sessions to discuss and take feedback on local matters - encouraging two way communication between the company and local residents
Be willing to innovate, developing engagement techniques to meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders
Be primary point of contact for local residents - responding to day to day enquiries in a timely and professional manner through the necessary communication channels
Work pro-actively with key internal and external stakeholders including Liverpool City Council, LCC Local Councillors and Merseyside Police
Attend meetings and other major events; meeting and engaging with local residents and acting as ambassador for the company
Provide analysis of engagement events and activities through monitoring and evaluation
Report analysis and present findings to internal stakeholders as required

Skills Required:
Educated to degree level (Communications degree, desirable)
Must have extensive experience working in a communications and engagement role (at officer or manager level)
Experience of planning and delivering community engagement activities and organising community events using a variety of communication and engagement methods
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively and deliver results to demanding deadlines
Strong innovation, creativity and problem-solving skills
Excellent communicator, confident to work with a wide range of people and groups
Confident facilitation and presentation skills - able to deliver presentations to groups in a personable but professional manner
Excellent IT skills, word, excel, powerpoint
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Project management experience; ideally within a community engagement role
Company Benefits:
Salary up to £38.5k (Negotiable, for right role)
Hours 9-5pm, flexible working hours (35 hrs)
