The role of Commercial Manager will work within the central Bids team. You will have experience of researching and assessing business opportunities, managing large commercial agreements and understand the post-agreement process of maximising client value. You will be able to operate in a complex business and manage stakeholders competently.

The role of Commercial Manager will include the following:
Research client opportunities where the company can tender for business
Explore opportunities to expand coverage of a client
Assessing past opportunities
Putting together summaries of opportunities, to influence key stakeholders in the right commercial direction
Liaise directly with clients where necessary to ensure a sound understanding of their needs
Manage internal communication around client updates and actions to be taken by the business
Ensure the business is maximising revenue streams from current agreements
Working with key stakeholders around the business to ensure commercially and legally compliant terms are signed


The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Have a background in B2B Sales Operations, Bids, Pursuit Management or similar
Excellent acumen for assessing commercial opportunities and influencing stakeholders
Takes a highly proactive approach in researching and spotting opportunities
Can manage multiple tasks, deadlines and targets simultaneously
Experience of formal tender process
Able to interpret legal/contract documents effectively
