Leading on a programme across the Yorkshire region and engaging with various stakeholders in rolling of key messages via various channels

Description

As the Communications Lead you will work with a number of stakeholders across the region and you will plan, deliver and evaluate a comprehensive communications and engagement strategies across the Yorkshire region.

Responsibilities include;

* Provide strategic advice and support to stakeholders on the most appropriate communications and engagement approach
* Stakeholder engagement; managing internal and external communications channels; developing media relations, campaign and event planning and promoting the work of the programme through reputation management.
* Develop, implement and evaluate a communications and engagement strategy as well as identify the stakeholders and gather information require to drive the project forward. You will also identify partners and define their relationship to the programme and action key messages.
* Help to develop digital content to support the various sites to make sure the information is consistent across the region
* Produce an online newsletter as well as briefing for stakeholders providing an update on the progress
* Produce and maintain a communication and engagement toolkit
* Produce various publications- write, edit, proof read, coordinate, complex internal, external content; write press releases, articles, presentations, social media, workshops, videos, e-mails, newsletters and marketing collateral etc.


Profile

This is a great opportunity to lead on a larger project and help to deliver communications across the region. You would have worked at a senior communication manager.

* You would have previously worked for, or with a large complex public sector organization - ideally the NHS or for a health care organisation
* You would have worked with a number of stakeholders and be able to engage and influence. Stakeholder engagement and being able to operate at a senior level is essential for this role.
* You must have previously developed and let on programme and developed communications/ engagement plans
* You must have a strong track record of implementing effective internal and external communication strategies. You will be able to deliver via a number of communications channels (on/off-line)- internal communications, media relations, social media, marketing, events, campaigns, publicity, branding, design, digital and editorial.
* Experience of writing and producing corporate literature key organisational messages and strategy.


Job Offer

c£42,000- £48,000 plus excellent benefits

You must be available January 2019. This is a contract c 6 months +
