My client is an established brand, with an impressive track record and even more impressive plans! They have a new requirement for an experienced Marketing Analyst to join their Manchester-based team (who, I might add, are super lovely!)

As their analyst, it goes without saying that you’ll be numerically strong, but I’m looking for a real superstar, who can turn the numbers into a story to bring the customer to life. Your findings will influence the plans of the business, so you must be a proactive individual, who can identify areas for growth/improvement.

Day to day, your role will include:-

-          Analysing data from sales, pricing, promotions, competitor activity
  • Presenting data findings back to stakeholders across a range of levels
-          Looking at trends and market data to influence product development plans
-          Quantitative and qualitative research
-          Customer presentations
-          Completing ad hoc data analysis requests for a range of teams across the business
-          Improving, developing and amending regular reports to ensure that useful data is being collected and utilised efficiently
-          Working with the wider marketing team to provide analytical input for their weekly reports

You must possess fantastic Excel skills and you’ll be a great communicator, who can make the numbers “make sense” to those who aren’t as technical. You’ll be comfortable working on your own initiative to identify areas of growth for the business and you’ll use data to influence stakeholders.
