This is an opportunity for a Bid Manager to join a company with a collaborative and supportive team spirit, to work with autonomy and be a part of Senior Management.

The client is a Top 100 Professional Services Company located in Manchester City Centre. The opportunity is for a Bid Manager to join the bid department in a time of growth and expansion. A multi-national industry leader, this client is looking for a candidate with experience in proposals.


* Act as a lead on pitch writing, and in so doing manage pitches from end to end
* Conduct win & loss type reviews
* Work closely with bid execs to identify what is needed for their pitches and to support them in collating such information
* Together with other managers in the firm, identify best practices to ensure that the company remains a market leader
* Liaise with the executive team, key stakeholders to manage and execute key product and feature launch campaigns
* Work on the national and international products and their marketing campaigns
* Maintain effective internal communication between teams
* Raise product and brand awareness
* Write effective copy over a variety of different mediums
* Continually assessing marketing and competitors' conditions, strengths, weaknesses, so as to maintain and develop the product portfolio to maintain leadership in the market


* Experience in Bids at a Bid Manager level
* Capacity to work under pressure and at a pace: When an opportunity opens up with a mega-client, you need to move quickly
* Content and Communication skills, with exceptionally good English and able to write persuasively
* Dedicated to exceeding the customer's expectations
* Commitment to carrying oneself with the highest level of integrity
* Desirables: Another language, and bids experience in accounting/law firms
