Client Details

My client is a leading Educational Institute based in Middlesex


The Part-Time Marketing Officer will have the following responsibilities;

* Work collaboratively across the Marketing team, assisting with a wide variety of activities and initiatives as required, including project coordination, gathering and processing of information and materials (content), proof reading and the production of marketing collateral.

* Assist with the production of new and existing marcoms collateral for offline and digital channels e.g. the website or Undergraduate/Postgraduate prospectus and course brochures.

* Collate, instruct and manage the work flow of jobs into the Design Unit - ensuring we follow the set lead times and sign off process.

* Administer and maintain photography and media libraries and plan/coordinate future requirements for Department.

* Communicate effectively across the Marketing team and wider directorate to ensure quality and consistency across marketing activities.

* Co-ordinate booking venues, accommodation, equipment and hospitality, etc. within the University and, where appropriate, externally.

* Act as the Marketing Teams' focal point for all news and information including contributing to the production of marketing newsletters as required.

* Support the Associate Director of Marketing and the wider team in the preparation and provision of reports, minutes and information as required.

* Raise purchase orders, process invoices and reconcile expenditure for the Department.

* Support yearly and quarterly budget reviews

* Ensure that all department records, shared materials, data, content etc. is recorded and stored in logical efficient way and in accordance with regulatory and statutory compliance.

* Work closely with external parties and agencies when commissioning marketing activities and projects.


The successful marketing officer should have the following skillset;

* A general understanding of marketing practices.

* A broad knowledge of administrative procedures in a large organisational setting.

* Proven success in completing tasks to tight deadlines and working without supervision.

* A Passion for marketing.

* Creative and innovative flair and approach.

* Strong communications skills

Job Offer

The successful candidate would be offered a daily rate of between £130pd- £150pd on an initial 6 month contract
