Head of Community, Corporate & Events Fundraising Manager required for charity in East london

Your new company
Serving Romford and the surrounding areas, this well known charity offers support to individuals with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families & carers alike.

Your new role
You will be tasked with leading a team of fundraisers across 3 different areas: Corporate, Community & Events and be expected to formulate an annual strategy and oversee its end to end implementation. The department is responsible for approximately 75% of total revenue for the charity and as such, they are looking for someone who can demonstrate significant previous fundraising management experience. Income targets are in excess of £1 million for this area and you will need to be comfortable budgeting for growth whilst working with teams of people who work to targets, in a very busy and challenging environment.

What you'll need to succeed
They are looking for someone who is already experienced in ideally at least two of the three fundraising areas above with a proven track record in professional fundraising and people management. You will need to be a strong leader/manager and planner, who enjoys supporting and developing teams of fundraising professionals with first class planning, monitoring, evaluating and reporting skills and a team player who will share your experience to improve team performance. You will be strategic, analytical and have significant budgeting experience.
Car driver with own transport is an essential for this position.

What you'll get in return
Offering a salary of between £38,140 to £44,327 dependant on experience.
As well as the competitive salary, the charity offers great holiday allowance starting at 27 days going up to 33 days and offers a contributory pension as well as other benefits including the option of some flexible working, relevant to the role
