What we are looking for:
The role of Head of Marketing & Communications is a pivotal and crucial role to the success of Dreamland Margate. With numerous target audiences to communicate with, this role must take a helicopter view of the business and enable strategies to respond to the business goals.
You will be responsible for positioning Dreamland Margate as a year-round entertainment destination and positioning Dreamland Margate as a top (20 (10) UK amusement park destination.
You will be a highly organised and collaborative person with experience in a similar role in a Visitor Attraction and/or Entertainment venue, an understanding of operational requirements for public attractions and/or events with an instinct for commercial awareness and budget management.
You will have thorough understanding of either the attraction or events target market, proven track record of developing the full potential in a business or start-ups and experience in Leisure, Tourism, Events and Entertainment or similar industry
As Head of the Marketing team and along with the Commercial Director and SMT you will develop and implement strategies to maximise visitor spending and yield e.g. through value-added offers, retail strategies and on-line spend
