An exciting Business Development Manager position for one of the leading City law firms in London

About you

You will be a highly skilled Business Development Executive with strong Tenders experience looking to step into a Business Development Manager position, or currently in a management position looking for a more defined Tenders focused role. You will also possess:-

* Strong experience with the tender process within a legal/professional services environment
* Previous experience editing in the tender process
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with demanding clientele
* Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.

About the role

You will be working as part of a wider Business Development team and will play a key advisory role to the firm's Partners on their tender strategy. You will also be tasked with:-

* Reviewing OJEU notices and highlighting opportunities to relevant teams.
* Completing Selection Questionnaires (SQ).
* Drafting generic Invitation to Tender (ITT) content to a high standard.
* Keeping track of tender results and feedback and logging lessons learned, including keeping an up to date precedent library of past tenders.
* Working with Partners and departmental teams to create presentations for interview stages, including preparing coaching sessions and conducting dress rehearsals.
* Working closely with the Head of Business Development and the Partners on post-tender delivery.
