Description

As the Internal Communications Consultant you will:

* Supporting with message planning, mapping etc
* Working with stakeholders on delivery of IC on a range of core projects and bringing the elements of the company narrative to life - this may also include projects outside the Business should the business require it or for development opportunities
* Delivering communications that drive the Group Internal Communications Strategy
* Collaborate with other members of the IC team in UK and NA to share best practice and deliver consistency
* Work alongside IC colleagues to help the wider team plan and execute business priority messages through the most suitable channels for the Consumer audience
* Work with the Measurement & Insight team to measure success of projects
* Support the Director, IC Consumer to provide coaching to leaders within the business to be better communicators
* Provide local insight for global communications
* Support with local communication activity where required e.g. townhalls.


Profile

The successful candidate will have:

* Excellent communication skills; articulate, compelling, engaging and a highly inclusive manner
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and challenge at all levels including board and executive committee and key external stakeholders
* Excellent understanding of the audience and their specific requirements/nuances
* Ability to challenge constructively and propose solutions to stakeholders that fit with the IC practices and global model and meet the business need
* Ability to be proactive in managing a demanding workload with high levels of resilience and the ability to influence stakeholders and the wider internal communications team
* A skillful team player with the ability to work in a virtual team across geographical and functional boundaries and with a proven track record of building successful, collaborative relationships across all levels and business functions
* People management and leadership experience
* Examples of successful project delivery
* Strong project management and organisation skills which will be demonstrated through managing multiple projects and working to deadlines.


Job Offer

Competitive salary circa £60-£70k plus benefits on offer to the successful candidate in London.
