The role of Head of Marketing is for a leading Professional Services company, specialising in Accountancy and Advisory services to business and private individuals. This is a great opportunity for an experienced marketer to continue improving the brand and provide high quality support to partners.

Client Details

The client is long standing and high performing, London based, Accountancy and Advisory firm who have a modern look and feel to their brand and services. They are always looking for new ways to grow, without ever sacrificing the level of services to their clients. They have a clear brand message and proposition that is embedded in the business and it's people. They are now looking to maximise this for the future.


The role of Head of Marketing will include the following responsibilities:
Lead the strategic direction and sit on the Marketing Committee, along with selected Senior Partners
Work closely with key stakeholders to see where marketing can add value to their business and ensure collateral is optimised
Continue the development and embedding of the brand, tone of voice and value proposition - acting as a brand champion and guardian
Utilise a selective Events programme for business development
Advise on medium term CRM developments, to maximise client opportunities
Oversee delivery of quarterly newsletter
Work with social media consultancy to maximise content exposure
Manage integration of an acquired business in to the brand
Come up with new ideas that add clear value - i.e. could a podcast be viable
Manage direct report, with team likely to grow over the next few years
Oversee merchandising


The successful candidate will possess the following:
Have Professional Services experience - Accountancy, Advisory or Legal
Able to demonstrate strategic marketing and communication knowledge that will be effective in a growing SME
Demonstrable experience of handling senior level stakeholders and influencing them
Experience of managing someone and developing them professionally
Have worked across all elements for marketing - i.e. collateral development and content, events and merchandising, CRM and email
Can show creative thinking in coming up with innovative and on brand solutions to increase the company's client reach and expertise profile
Be educated to degree level, with a min. 2:1
