Working alongside the Sales and Branded team, you will assist in driving our products and brand offerings to the customers within the FMCG health and beauty care categories, across markets worldwide. This is a critical position in improving overall business sales performance and strategic decisions.

The business group specialise in the creation of high quality personal care and beauty products, based in Peterborough.


The key responsibilities for the Category and Brand Insight analyst include:

* Analysing market trends, market categories and consumer insights
* Analyse data from existing reports to facilitate effective decision making
* Support on going brand management - breaking down best sellers, identifying gaps in the market and new opportunities
* Drive category performance, segmenting various data
* Present recommendations with support for new products and brand opportunities
* Deliver data and recomendations to support strategy for the category
* Provide market insights to colleagues through monthly reports and presentations


The successful candidate for the Category and Brand Insight Analyst will be:

* Ideally degree educated - but not essential depending on background and experience
* Proven category management experience and understanding of category management principles
* Highly analytical individual to influence category agenda
* Confident in making informed business recommendations and strong stakeholder management skills
* Working knowledge of IRI, Nielson, Kantar etc.
* A natural enthusiasm and passion for the beauty category
* Full driving licence
* Ideally industry experience of working within health and beauty industry
