My client is recruiting for a Head of Marketing to join a fast growing Technology company based in Blackburn

Reporting into the Chief Technology and Strategy Officer you will be responsible for establishing the company as a leader in cloud and managed communication services, developing the marketing strategy and leading the marketing team to ensure that the growth plans of the company are achieved and that the brand maintains a high and positive profile in the marketplace

Key Responsibilities
Managing Marketing - manage the marketing team in all activities to ensure consistent, contemporary and relevant function
Brand Stewardship - own and guide the brand in all its aspects, ensuring it remains relevant, differentiated and distinctive
Strategic Engagement - effect a Marketing plan that supports the company's overall strategic ambition
Enticing Engagement - drive inbound and outbound engagement with a customer journey storyboard and messaging
Opportunity Development - deliver opportunities to support the companies growth ambitions
Adopting an integrated 360-degree approach - using all tools available to contemporary marketers including digital, events, traditional campaigning, public and analyst relationships
Effectively communicate - ensuring all stakeholders are reached be they customers, prospects, employees or investors - communicating consistently and professionally to enforce the company reputation
Financial management - managing the marketing budget and maximising the contributions of partners and other sources of funding
Third party management - including agencies, partners, creatives and suppliers to maximise the effectiveness of the marketing function
Gathering insight - providing inward information on marketplace demands
Collaboration - working across the business, especially with the sales leadership team, to support business activity
To ensure that the company reputation and presence online and within social media is positive and supports the business' objectives
Will require some travelling down to the London Head Office

Skills Required
Educated to degree level in Marketing or Business
Must have experience of working at Head of Marketing/Marketing Director level
Candidates must have a Technology/Cloud/IT Software background
Must have experience of managing a B2B marketing team
Commercially astute
A verifiable track record of working with other business functions to improve and maintain an optimal marketing team
Experience of working with external marketing agencies



Company Benefits
Salary up to £80k (depending on experience)
20% Bonus
Car allowance (£6k)
