The role of Business Development Executive will have a clear growth path to a managerial role and will help to collate pitches and proposals, as well as the occasional significant RFP. You will play a key part in identifying opportunities across practice areas, where the BD team can add value and grow their influence across the firm.

The role of Business Development Executive is for an innovative and high growth law firm who are based in central London. They have a unique and well known brand.


The role of BD Executive for this Legal firm will have the following responsibilities:
Support the Marketing and BD Director in growing the business development function and it's influence
Collate pitches and proposals across all practice areas
Help to manage any significant RFPs
Be proactive in looking for ways to add value to different business areas
Work fairly autonomously with a view to growing the role in to a BDM position
Build strong relationships with key fee earners and groups, demonstrating how they can generate new business
Be responsible for sorting legal directories


The successful candidate will possess the following:
Be degree educated, with a minimum 2:1
Have experience of working in a BD role with the Legal sector
Have exceptional communication skills - written and verbal
Able to demonstrate examples of building relationships with key stakeholders in order to generate new business
Understand the process of managing pitches and proposals in a busy environment
Previous exposure to manage RFPs - ideally of significant size
Can work autonomously in the role and hit the ground running
