This company is one of the UK's premier designers and producers of contemporary domestic and hotel lighting. With a reputation for innovative designs, high quality manufacture and reliable performance, they have invested heavily in recent years and are based in Essex, near the Hertfordshire borders.

They are currently seeking an individual for a 12 month maternity cover contract to organise their exhibitions, on average about 20-25 per year (varying in size). They have a Junior Exhibition Designer who is responsible for designing the exhibitions, so they are looking for someone to cover the organisational element although if this person has good design and CAD experience then these skills can be utilised within the role.

The role will be varied and can include other aspects dependent on your strengths but will include coordinating the physical exhibition stand, liaising with their factories in China, liaising with marketing team to ensure all documentation is completed and organising graphics and vinyls required.

Person sought:

  • Experience in exhibition design or similar
  • Strong organisational skills
  • CAD skills, knowledge of SolidWorks would be great (you would then also be able to help design retail showroom boards)
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (workload dependent, you may be required to support the graphics team with artwork, data sheets etc.)
