This job will be responsible for managing and supervising all marketing activity to increase brand awareness to the local authorities and health services, ultimately to deliver high quality, innovative, and effective Health and Wellbeing services.

Description

The key responsibilities for the PR & Marketing Officer include:

* Lead the design and management of consumer marketing strategies for the health products and services portfolio.
* Create and develop a marketing, PR and communications strategy.
* Planning, developing and implementing social marketing strategies for each of the brands contracts.
* Managing and allocating project and campaign budgets cost effectively and efficiently.
* Answer enquiries from the media, individuals and other organisations on behalf of the business.
* Researching, writing and distributing press releases.
* Collating, analysing and reporting of media coverage.
* Working with copywriter to write and edit in-house magazines, case studies, articles and annual reports.
* Manage all PR activity including PR crisis management, developing campaign ideas and media relations.


Profile

The successful candidate for the PR & Marketing Officer will be:

* Experienced in health PR and/or marketing in the private/public sector is preferred.
* Operational knowledge and experience of developing and delivering marketing campaigns to bring behaviour change.
* A sound understanding of PR and marketing.
* Strong writing skills.
* Autonomous in being self motivated, organised and a high work ethic to manage deadlines and workload.
* Good communication internally and externally.
* An understanding of how media outlets operate.
* A strong knowledge of social media platforms.
* A critical and analytical approach and ability to use logic and understanding on deciding upon the right public relations strategy.
