The Senior Events Manager will help build positive relationships with partners and key stakeholders by managing corporate events, public engagement events and other events where relevant, to support the corporate strategy, vision and values of the business.

Client Details

My client is a large not-for-profit organisation based across four main locations within the Northern Home Counties. This Senior Events Manager role is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a large Marketing team and really make an impact.


The key responsibilities of the Senior Events Manager include:

* Lead on planning and delivery of all events (corporate, recruitment and public engagement events), developing an annual plan that supports the corporate strategy, vision and values.
* Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget and deliver a superior guest list.
* Contribute to wider business projects as part of the project team, to support the achievement of project objectives.
* Provide recommendations and best practice advice.
* Oversee the development and review of the business event policy, process and procedures.
* Build and manage supplier relationships, working with procurement as appropriate to ensure a cost effective spend and maximum return on investment.
* Line management responsibilities of the events team - 7 people.
* Manage the budget for events.


The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

* Degree or relevant professional qualification
* Substantial experience in managing complex events and planning effectively by drawing on specialist experience and appropriate skills
* Managing a team including the ability to deal effectively with difficult staffing issues and resourcing successfully
* Managing multiple budgets at the same time
* Working with various stakeholders, at all levels, including senior managers, forming positive relationships and effectively delivering key information

Job Offer

The Senior Events Manager role is offering a basic annual salary between £38,000 - £45,000 + other added benefits.
