This is a great opportunity for an events professional to join a driven and dynamic market department in a Top 100 law firm.

The successful candidate will report into the Director of Marketing and Business Development and have responsibility for managing and mentoring an Events Executive and an Events Assistant. The Events Manager will have full responsibility for managing the firm's busy events programme, ensuring consistently high quality throughout and that the programme adds value to the business. This will include the planning and execution of external seminars, exhibitions, conferences, private dinners and industry awards that the firm attends or organizes. The role holder will also ensure that return on investment is maximised for each event, using their experience to make recommendations and instil best practice accordingly. The events programme is national so there will be a requirement to travel and stay overnight when necessary.

The Events Manager will have substantial experience within the marketing function of a professional services environment and demonstrable event leadership at a senior level to include experience of supervising junior team members. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with an ability to engage at all levels and to build effective, credible and long-lasting relationships especially at senior level are essential, as are outstanding administration and coordination skills, excellent attention to detail and the energy and enthusiasm to tackle new markets.
