The Senior Digital Executive will be the 'go-to' member of the Communications team for advice and insight on website management and digital engagement, including Social Media, Content, and Analytics.

The Senior Digital Executive will be the web and digital lead, setting the agenda and deliver a great deal of engagement with the online audience. To do so, you will:

* Deliver the current and develop future digital strategy
* Develop a new intranet to maximise efficient internal communications
* Provide advice on web management and digital engagement
* Own the relationship with web and digital agencies, conducting the appropriate checks and balances to ensure value for money
* Build and maintain strong internal relationships, being a point person for online communications across the business
* Develop meaningful metrics to track success of planned communications


The Senior Digital Executive will have proven experience managing a website with a broad and diverse user demography, encouraging engagement and SEO. So you'll need great technical understanding of websites, across content, design, IA, development, usability, etc. And you'll also have experience linking and managing social media channels to best effect.

Essential characteristics include:

* A sound understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, CMS, and cross-platform compatibility
* Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and Tag Manager
* Ability to manage web projects, ideally in agile
* Ability to translate technical jargon into plain English
* Excellent web copywriting skills
* Skilled across planning, organisation, collaboration, and speed.

Ideally, you'll also have:

* Experience of the financial sector or working with government

Job Offer

The successful candidate will secure a permanent contract with an organisation at the forefront of change, earning up to £36,000 at their East London offices.
