My client, a leading healthcare business based in the North West are recruiting a Product Manager to join their busy marketing team. Applicants must have extensive product/marketing background within the healthcare sector this is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
Support development and execution of the Business Strategy, working with Senior Product Manager/Marketing Director
Prepare for and present the launch of new products and service solutions
Design targeted marketing campaigns to promote product and service solutions to existing and potential customers, in line with the Business Strategy, utilising all media forms
Forecast, plan and manage the product portfolio
Become the go to person for all product information and knowledge
Market research and maintain up-to-date databases on competitor product alignments, pricing and product / service solutions, and communicate new developments to all relevant departments
Support the tender process and ensure Managers have up-to-date information on new product and service solutions
Complete product applications for the successful listing of products
Co-ordinate presence at National and Regional Exhibitions, including stand design, customer engagement and all other supporting promotional activities
Establish and manage the Marketing budget, ensuring expenditure is effectively and efficiently utilised and remains within budget
Establish close communication with colleagues around the world, to share knowledge and best practice and ensure customer requirements are met and optimum levels of support are achieved for new product developments
Work closely with Managers to ensure all product and service developments are in line with and promoting the latest clinical best practice
Work closely with the sales team, Nurse Advisors to design, update and maintain literature and tools
Update the Website regularly and maintain the Online Training Tool Database
Regularly report on marketing projects and ad hoc projects

Skills Required;
Educated to degree level (Marketing/Business Studies)
CIM qualification
Must have strong product management and marketing experience in a healthcare environment (preferred)
Possess the full marketing mix (mainly offline)
Experience of new product development, competitor analysis, market research
Good project management skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Networking and events experience
High level of commercial awareness
Able to work away from home, some international travel
Full driving licence
Demonstrable IT skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Company Benefits:
Salary up £40k- £45k (depending on experience) + Bonus + Car
37 hour week
