Better Placed are delighted to be recruiting a Senior Product Manager role for a FinTech business in Nottingham. In what is a wide-ranging role, you will be heading up the BAU and performance of a core tech product that is aimed towards the Financial Services sector encompassing both B2B and B2C markets. You will take strategic ownership of this innovative product, defining, launching and managing the entire lifecycle as well as developing the proposition and measuring the performance.

You will manage a team of Product Managers and Business Analysts and you will have overall responsibility for the strategic direction of the defined product range and work with the wider business on the development of new products and propositions in line with the growth strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

* Setting the strategic direction of the product roadmap in line with market requirements.
* Delivery of product initiatives to budget and delivering projects within agreed time frames.
* Being the voice of the customer throughout the business.
* Analysis of competitor products and wider market trends/requirements.
* Developing internal relationships and providing product updates, particularly at board level.
* Driving customer engagement based on concrete insight and market research.
* Develop go-to-market strategies and work across different functions to ensure successful execution.

Experience required:

* Currently operating at Senior Product Manager or Head of Product level or similar.
* Management of a P&L and able to demonstrate commercial growth and/or cost reduction.
* Significant experience in managing an existing portfolio of products and launching new products.
* Fintech, Financial Services or Consumer tech experience.
* Knowledge of product management tools and processes.
