An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Communications Coordinator to join an ever changing business in Sittingbourne, Kent on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the Communications & Engagement Co-ordinator plays a key role in the shaping and delivery of the Engagement strategy and Communication plan across the Business both internally and externally.

The Communications & Engagement co-ordinator is responsible to ensure there is a cohesive and holistic approach to communication and engagement aligned to Divisional & Group frameworks. The role involves developing new effective ways of communicating with employees and manage various communications channels and content.

The role involves working closely with the Senior Management team to create a site wide engagement culture. The role will also work closely with first line managers to obtain buy-in and for them to champion engagement within their area. The role will be responsible for the execution and overall communication as it relates to employee engagement initiatives on site.

Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate the effective delivery of the Comms and Engagement strategy and plan
- Engage with employees to understand their "experience" of the key processes
- Produce simple, effective and eye-catching designs for leaflets, posters, and other content aimed principally at employees using software applications, such as InDesign and Photoshop
- Plan, write and deliver communications aligned with our brand, mission, purpose, priorities values and principles
- Co-ordinate photo shoots with the professional photographer on site
- Maintain and drive the overall communications plan/calendar
- Create and facilitate the community engagement framework and annual plan;
- Support and develop engagement initiatives
- Develop and Manage innovative and high quality and measurable digital and print campaigns aimed at internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Digital side of the business - intranet
- Be the key point of contact for internal communications, local press, and charities;
- Support Organisation events such as focus groups
- Manage the costs and production of internal communications in line with budgets
- Gather and report on metrics on engagement and action planning

Requirements
- You will hold a Degree level qualification in a Marketing or Internal Communications
- You will have strong experience in using Adobe In Design and Photoshop
- Excellent Verbal Communication Skills
- You will be able to priortise your workload and have strong attention to detail

This role does require travel within the UK and Abroad, please apply if you are happy to travel to different sites.
