Unique opportunity to join a global Oil & Gas company as a Internal Communications Manager on a 6-12 Month FTC in London.

Global & leading Oil & Gas company based in central London.


As the Internal Communications Manager you will:

* Lead the delivery of the internal communications plan, ensuring corporate messages, as well as Group and department initiatives, are effectively communicated to internal audiences and are consistent with external messaging
* Contribute to the development of the entity's communication strategy in line with business priorities
* Support the External Communications Department in understanding its business priorities in the UK
* Partner with Department managers to ensure regular business update are communicated to our employee population
* Manage the day-to-day running of the company intranet page following the business needs and the Group's instructions.
* Design and produce company internal new quarterly internal newsletter/ internal communications material, translating technical information/jargon into user-friendly content
* Manage CSR activities and budget, highlighting key relationships and initiatives internally as well as working with the External Communications Department on the design and production of all related external communication activities.
* Responsible for managing the biannual Group-wide survey, which will demand close liaison with both the Senior Management team and Paris, communicate the results and support the business in implementing any new strategy or project following the results announcement.
* Manage the full internal and corporate communication lifecycle from development through to delivery, using appropriate tools.
* Act as a subject matter expert for use of the company brand and as focal point for the production of external communications material including publications, multimedia and event and exhibition material.
* Develop, build and maintain strong working partnerships with key internal stakeholders to devise strategic communications to help deliver departmental outcomes.
* Act as the primary point of contact for Trading and Corporate teams within the Communication network
* Member of Corporate Communications Crisis Response Team: responsible for internal communication during a crisis incident
* Implement and manage internal charity fundraising company-wide
* Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes
* Manage and support the Sport and Social club


The successful candidate will have:

* The job holder should hold a good first degree in a business, journalist or communications related subject, ideally supplemented by a professional PR qualification
* Experience in communications strategy and planning, Proven track record of creating and executing internal communications in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Excellent influencing skills, with the ability to drive change and champion projects affecting the entire internal audience. Knowledge of editorial and events management is required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Must be solution and results orientated with a curious and inquisitive nature.
* Ability to manage large, complex communications projects delivering on time and within budget
* An awareness and understanding of the latest thinking and ideas in the communications sphere
* Good organisational and administrative skills
* Ability to speak and write French useful, but not essential
* Solid Digital communication skills is preferred
* People management and supervisory skills with the ability to coach and develop staff

Job Offer

A competitive salary circa £55-£60k depending on experience and excellent benefits on offer to the successful Internal Communications Manager for a 6-12 month FTC.
