One of the world's leading legal firms, requires a talented communications specialist to support the delivery of the firm's internal and external communications strategies.

The Communications Executive will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the firm's press office function and internal communications delivery. It will involve offering consultancy and implementation support to relevant internal audiences including practice group and sector group leaders, partners, associates, business development and marketing managers and other relevant support areas across the firm's international network. Together with other team members, you will take responsibility for planning and executing the firm's internal and external communications and provide practical and strategic advice in relation to the firm's communications activities. The role holder will assist in identifying a 'pipeline' of emerging trends and issues in relevant practices and sectors that can be communicated to the firm's audiences via a range of channels. The successful applicant will support the communications team and relevant practice teams with the creation of research projects and PR campaigns that will help grow the firm's reputation and collaborate with colleagues to ensure that communications material is used across our range of internal and external channels. You will also work on features, awards, proactive and reactive media opportunities and news flow, build and maintain a media network and assist with internal communications content creation and delivery.

The successful candidate will be joining a busy environment and you will therefore require a strong academic record or equivalent, previous communications experience gained in a global professional services firm and a proven ability to work under pressure, keep to tight deadlines, and to manage multiple activities. Allied to this you will need to show knowledge of digital and web, including social media, and experience of working with media. In addition, language skills and experience of working in an international context are highly desirable.
