Assisting in the development and delivery of the marketing strategy to drive overall category growth for the business.

As the Category Marketing Analyst, key duties include but not limited to:

* Working closely with sales, marketing and finance teams to translate customer insights into strategies which drive performance
* Develop strong working relationships with on trade and off trade customers to deliver compelling category
* Undertaking regular market audits to identify trends and opportunities
* Work with market data to create compelling sales stories for the sales team to deliver
* Managing the market research budget
* Providing category insight across UK retail channels
* Collecting data intelligence to develop channel profile
* Working closely with the sales team to prepare for line reviews as needed
* Collecting and reporting business data (market, shopper and end user) to internal and external stakeholders
* Understand the competitor landscape
* Manage agency relationships including clear scope of work
* Implement channel campaigns/communications to expand market share and pursue growth targets


The successful candidates will posses the following skills and attributes:

* Strong analytical skill-set, coupled with significant experience at extracting, manipulating, analysing and presenting data based argumentation, both internally and to the trade

* The ability to manage and persuade at all levels of the company

* Ability to analyse and draw insights from data is essential

* Understanding of strategic development and implementation of marketing communications

* Ability to be both flexible and adaptable to work with a number of teams within the business

* Ability to both prepare and deliver presentations confidently
