Unique opportunity to join a Global and leading Real Estate company as a PR Manager based in London.

Client Details

Global B2B & B2C Real Estate organisation headquartered in London.


As the PR Manager you will be responsible for:


* Researching, writing and distributing press releases.
* Identifying stories, news and trends through the one to one catch-ups, and team and admin meet ups.
* Strategic co-ordination of regional and discipline stories with B2B and B2C PR teams.
* Distribution and management of national research stories ensuring these are used to the best advantage for the sector and region.
* Preparation of press comments for features and reactive pieces.
* Amplify working with social media team to use social media appropriately.

Media Relations

* Promotion through the local and regional newspapers, business and trade press and where appropriate, TV and radio and social media of all aspects of the business.
* Coaching fee earners for media interviews.
* Management of a reactive and proactive press office for the areas of business specified.
* Establish and maintain relationships with the news, business, property and retail editors as well as correspondents of key regional newspapers and online journals.
* Production and maintenance of distribution lists for projects which need specific PR support.
* Organisation and attendance of journalist briefings.
* Organisation and attendance of photo shoots and press calls where necessary.
* Organisation and attendance at regional events and media liaison e.g. research events, rural seminars and briefings.
* Sharing articles and ideas with other PRs in the business.
* Attending industry events and conferences as required.

Media Monitoring

* Daily monitoring of all media cuttings online.
* Daily review of local newspapers for press cuttings as well as story ideas and local area news for each office.
* Distribution of key coverage to members of the relevant teams featured and highlighting best practice coverage to senior staff and peers.
* Monthly reporting on regional press cutting figures to the national head of PR.
* Monitoring local journalists and online influencers (e.g. relevant bloggers) on social media.


* Manage and maintain relationships with the national press office and other regional PR managers.
* Liaison with UK and global Internal Comms and website teams to ensure all news, stories and features are distributed via the internal and external channels.
* Close liaison with the social media team to amplify coverage and escalate any crisis PR issues.
* Liaison and assistance with marketing team, for sponsorship, events and publications.
* Maintenance of filing systems - both paper and electronic.
* Preparation of reports and attendance at region discipline meetings.
* Report to head of PR on a monthly basis on activity across the region.
* Occasional preparation and presentation of PR strategies for specific developments / clients.


The successful PR Manager in London will have:

* Minimum of three years experience in PR or associated fields i.e. journalism, with demonstrable experience of using social media.
* Must have an excellent and proven ability to write press releases, articles and edit copy.
* Excellent people management skills; experience in client management and managing expectations. Ability to deal with all levels of experience and knowledge within the business.
* Exemplary time management and prioritising.
* The ability to identify stories.
* Adherence to deadlines.
* Journalist liaison and strong relationship building skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team in regions as well as part of a wider team of press officers across the UK.
* Must be able to work individually, be self motivated and proactive.
* Previous experience in property PR an advantage.
