A Children's Charity are looking for a creative and strategic assistant Brand Marketing Manager to assist in the growing Marketing function.

Provide straightforward professional brand and marketing advice to enable all parts of the

organisation to deliver the brand strategy; promoting consumer focused, insight-led and integrated multi-channel marketing, delivering higher brand awareness and consideration to support the charity.

Advise on brand management and governance issues, advising on key messages, creative content and brand architecture (new product development, naming and Intellectual Property).

Develop and deliver effective integrated marketing activities to achieve shared objectives; effectively project manage cross-functional teams and external suppliers (including media and creative agencies, designers, film-makers, musicians, writers, printers, or others required).

Execute highly effective brand communications and high-profile marketing campaigns to meet strategic objectives; identifying the most cost-effective and efficient marketing channels, and monitoring and evaluating activity to improve performance.

Manage devolved brand and marketing budget held centrally or regionally; including negotiating and administrating fees and associated costs, and developing the investment case for new opportunities as required.

6Track and measure all brand and marketing activity against targets set (KPIs), assisting the Head of Brand & Marketing on reporting to highlight progress and return on investment (ROI).

Act as advisor for one or more departments, regions or partnerships.

Champion the brand across marketing activities:

Promote and help maintain the brand hub, providing teams with clear guidance and easy access to assets supporting the consistent implementation of the brand.

Promote and help develop the creative services Preferred Suppliers List (PSL), identifying gaps and procuring new suppliers as required.

Assist in the development and implementation of brand and marketing best practice.


Excellent marketing, brand management and communication skills - written and verbal - including the proven ability to work successfully at all levels.

Successful track-record in brand development and activation across communication channels.

Proven project management skills with a good understanding of the role of brand and marketing within a charity.

Ability to implement strategic marketing plans across channels.

Budget management, reporting and business case development.

Strong presentation, influencing and negotiating skills.

Editorial and proof-reading skills.

Ability to prioritise and manage a large number of projects simultaneously.
