A leading accountancy firm is looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to collaboratively develop strategic business development and marketing plans, ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to with objectives and activity consistent with the firm's overall strategy.

Responsibilities of this role include:

* Plan, implement, measure and assess strategic business development and marketing plans within budget for profit centres.
* Develop and implement co-ordinated business development and marketing campaigns including direct and digital marketing, telemarketing, events, PR, advertising and social media.
* Research market sectors and work with profit centres to identify suitable target audiences, and build prospect lists and to develop profit centres' (and their partners and senior staff) profile/brand in market sectors.
* Generate ideas for topics of communication through knowledge of the services and sectors.
* Use analytics to assess campaign success and inform future marketing activity.
* Write material for the website, communications and other collateral.
* Ensure external communication is timely, relevant and complies with house style.
* Coach partners and senior staff on business development including persuasion, negotiation and presenting and work with fee earners to help them build and progress their own personal pipeline.
* Assist with client retention strategies and assist, when required, on proposals and tenders.
* Assist with the planning and implementation of firm-wide business development projects.
* Advise on and deal with ad hoc queries from business units, and UK and international offices.
You will possess a degree and CIM qualification desirable and have proven relevant experience of delivering the full marketing mix in the professional services environment (accountancy desirable). You will have the ability to manage projects simultaneously, often with critical deadlines, work with, and challenge partners and senior staff. You will manage your own time effectively and adapt to conflicting demands to ensure the task is completed. You'll be proactive and able to act on your own initiative, to be able to make sense of issues, identify and solve problems. You will have good communication, persuasion and motivational skills and good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Offices and experience in managing databases, email marketing tools and website content management systems.
