Great opportunity for a Customer Marketing Manager to join an exciting FMCG business and drive fantastic customer communications.

Client Details

Our client is an exciting Birmingham-based FMCG business in a high growth market. As they continue to expand, they will be looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to deliver best in class category / consumer communications.


This newly created role will play a key role in delivering and managing integrated marketing plans to ensure campaign consistency and wider brand reach. With a focus on the end consumer, you will work with the rest of the marketing team to deliver best in class omni-channel campaigns for brand activity and product launches. Particular areas of focus for campaigns will be ATL advertising, social media, PR, experiential and media buying.

You'll co-ordinate and plan consumer marketing activities for category campaigns and product launches, and then brief and manage external agencies on the campaign objectives and seeing through the projects from concept to execution.

The Customer Marketing Manager will also be responsible for reporting on campaign performance, working alongside other marketing team members to track ROI, while working closely with the Category team to share insights and recommendations based on industry news, competitor activity and trend forecasts - ensuring that all creative and channels are delivering are best in class campaigns.


You should be well versed in all marketing channels and whilst other team members will deliver their own areas, you are expected to understand 360 marketing to manage the overall campaign plans. You will have:

* a track record in a marketing management role, ideally from a consumer brand business (pref. FMCG).

* a demonstrable skill set in delivering integrated marketing campaigns to the end consumer

* an understanding of digital content and social strategies

* an understanding of media buying across multiple channels

* the ability to manage the creative process from briefing to execution

* experience of working with external agencies on a day to day basis

* an ability to be both strategic and tactical

* excellent self-motivating and interpersonal skills

* budget management and responsibility.
