The role will require you to deliver the following:

* Develop and deliver a marketing and communications strategy, working closely with external stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach and buy-in.
* Be responsible for communications planning.
* Oversee the launch and implementation of a brand identity; counsel on brand guideline application; manage development of on-brand design solutions for all
* Responsible for message development and dissemination
* Oversee the development of a website including creating a look and feel, narrative style and ongoing content creation
* Procure a strategic creative and marketing partner and work with that partner to develop engaging and innovative content across print and digital
* Overall responsibility for the launch and subsequent programme events, ensuring that they are engaging and in keeping with the strategic priorities
* Implement effective processes to manage the research, analysis, reporting and evaluation of all communications activity, for inclusion within quarterly management
* Manage a programme of familiarisation and press visits, events, demonstrators and exhibitions
* Responsibility for the development of all marketing collateral for use on and offline, acting as the brand guardian with stakeholders and sponsors, to maximise exposure and ensure consistency of Development of brand guidelines and oversight of brand
* Work with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships to ensure that marketing activity is effectively targeted.
* Manage the marketing and comms budget, optimising spend
* Maintain good relations with the media, particularly relevant sector specific publications, in order to ensure that key messages are effectively communicated.
* Engage and influence internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively and providing opportunities for input into marketing planning.

Person Specification:

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Proven success in developing, refining and spreading a message and building relationships with key press
* Strong evidence of working with thought leaders and effectively enlisting and engaging them to propel a platform forward
* Experience of advising/working directly with senior executives
* Strong knowledge of the industrial sector in the North West
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Inspiring storytelling capabilities.
* Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
